We are a home. We are hope. We are here for you.

Cherish House provides expecting mothers and their children with a safe and supportive home. We want our residents to not only feel comfortable at Cherish House but excited about their future, no matter what that looks like. We all have stories, and we honor each one of our resident’s journeys. At Cherish House, women have the space to explore what the future could look like, access to experienced and supportive staff, counselors, and mentors, as well as tools to help them grow.

Cherish House gave me responsibility, counseling, and a sense of purpose. I learned how to do my own laundry, learned how to cook my own meals, volunteer at events, and participate in “family” events with the house families and other girls. It really was the shove in growing up I needed.“

Whether you’re a mother with a child, expecting, or pregnant and looking into adoption, Cherish House provides a safe home as you embark on this journey. We work with women of all ages, from minors to young adults and older.

Transportation
We understand getting a ride isn’t always easy; whether you need assistance getting to Cherish House for your stay or simply a ride to your doctor’s appointment, we’ll be there.

Counseling
Our staff has experience working with mothers, offering mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, and trauma. Our women’s counseling provides each mother a weekly appointment with a counselor, and all children who stay at the house have the opportunity to participate in play therapy. Meet our staff.

Family Support
Are you a single mom and expecting another child? We have housing to accommodate you and your current children so you can keep your family together during this time.

Adoption Support
While Cherish Center does not work directly on adoptions, we partner with adoption agencies and counseling providers who specialize in the process and can help aid.

Cherish Center Community
Cherish House residents will always be a part of The Cherish Center, and the doors will always be open to that network. Past residents can request household items from our thrift store, Cherished Again, extra food is also shared through our food distribution center, and so much more.

“Words can’t describe how grateful I am to have had this amazing experience here at the Cherish House. From doing Earn While You Learn for future baby items in the baby boutique; to laughing while making a huge mess cooking supper meals together, I truly have had the most life-changing experiences here.”
